June 26 2025 Meeting

In Attendance:

Mr. Doug Duncan, President: Mr. Kirk Hamilton, Vice President; Mr. David Kelly, marina appearance
Also in Attendance: Mr. Austin Bynum, General Manager/ Dock Master; Ms. Britney Chadwall, Office Administrator

Call To Order:

President Doug Duncan called the meeting to at 9:00 am.
Verification of proper notice was confirmed by Secretary Cunningham.

Reports:

Presidents report:

Seawall will continue to be of concern with the construction at GHYCC. Austin is on it with open communication involving Lonnie and Doug Glover.
We will in the near future put a long-range plan together for dock replacement of the existing original docks. Suggestion was made that one dock be replaced at a time over 5 years.
Gorman Construction has the capability to extend the pilling if needed.
Current reserves are needed do to no insurance availability.

Treasures report by Larry Palmer,

President Duncan as that he investigates what account to place Hurricane funds remaining.

Vice Presidents report by Kirk Hamilton:

First day of GHYCC operations in the marina building is planned for July 8th , In addition ADA ramp to be installed by GHYCC, letter to be sent out to all slip owners and renters concerning access to the building.

Marina appearance report by David Kelly:

Plants have been lost to weather, will be replaced. Pressure washing will continue all summer.
Discussion about Harbor landings wanting smaller trees or cut existing trees down smaller at there expense. No action was taken at this time.
