BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

December 6, 2025 @ 01:00 PM

Marina Staff in Attendance: Mr. Austin Bynum, Marina General Manager/Dockmaster

Call to order: Kirk Hamiton @1:00 pm

Establish Quorum: Kirk Hamilton

Proof of notice: Confirmed by Bob Cunningham, Secretary

Approval of prior meeting minutes: Kirk Hamilton, seconded by Doug Douncan

Financials: approval Kirk Hamiton, seconded Doug Duncan

Old business:

Austin, water usage: approx. $9,000 owed by the country club to the marina. The country club has agreed to pay the marina the amount owed.
Parking: Continues to be an issue with a few people abusing the rules in place. Hopefully with new enforcement rules put in place by the CC it will improve.
Water leak behind the bar area. The cabinet will need to be replaced.

Dock replacement:

Kirk and Bob are working on numbers and timing for replacement, one pier at a time. Bob will be reaching out to dock companies for cost as well as options. 
Austin pointed out a static electricity problem on the fuel dock which will also be addressed.

Vice President Report: None

Secretary Report: None

Marina Appearance Report:

David reported the ongoing sod issue as well as the sprinkler issue along the sidewalk Austin stated the sprinkler system is tied into the golf course, so we only get water once a week.

Treasurer report:

Larry proposed moving $289k to the dock replacement fund.
Dock replacement is currently scheduled to start in 2033; this will be examined to move the date up based on current conditions of the original docks

Marina Staffing: 

Serena Barreau has been hired full time as Marina Operations Manager to assume the duties in the office as well as managing the outside staff.

Director Comments:

Doug expressed his enjoyment of financial planning next meeting will be held on January 8th, 2026, at 1:00 pm in the marina building.
