MIKE NEEDLER / SECRETARY
Michael S. Needler was the founder and former Chairman/CEO of Needler Enterprises, Inc., a supermarket company based in Findlay Ohio, retiring in 2019 after 53 years. Mike and his wife, Kathy, reside in Findlay, Ohio and Fort Myers, Florida (Gulf Harbour/Edgewater) and have been equity members of GHCC since 2003 and members of GH Marina since 2011. Mike was elected to the GH Marina BOD in 2022.
Mike holds a B.S degree from Hanover College and an MBA from Bowling Green State University. Mike is a past Chairman of the National Grocers Association, (NGA) and continues to serve on their board as a life member. He is a former board member of Food Marketing Institute. In 2004 Ohio Grocers Association inducted Mike into the Ohio Grocers Hall of Fame. Mike is the 2012 recipient of the NGA-Mondelez International Thomas K. Zaucha Award, given annually for Entrepreneurial Excellence. Mike is a consultant in the supermarket industry.
He has fifty years of service to many organizations. His interests include his family especially the many grandchildren, golfing, fishing and boating. He enjoys taking care of things around the home. He is an avid card player, enjoying euchre, hearts, shanghi rum and gin rummy.
